Siri on the Apple iPad 3

We have heard them all repeatedly: high resolution Retina Display, A6 processor, 4G and LTE compatibility, and of course, improved cameras. These speculations have been tailing the highly anticipated launching of the iPad 3. It’s like everyone is breathing every single update of the iPad 2 successor. So aside from what has been mentioned, what other iPad 3 features can we expect?

Rumors have been going round the block saying that the Apple iPad 3 will be adopting Siri, the virtual assistant from the iPhone 4S that has undoubtedly contributed much to its success. And this totally made sense since Siri didn’t only make their owner’s lives easier but also entertained them. But Siri had her own limitations. And this included availability in different languages. Currently, the iPhone 4S virtual assistant is accessible in languages such as in English, German, and French.

With the most-awaited release of the iPad 3 and with Siri being a part of it, there is some proof to believe that the speech recognition interface will next be supporting the Japanese language. In fact, when the iPhone 4S Siri is asked what languages she speaks her answer will include Japanese although not the case. She might just have given away the plan for Apple’s next step.

Moreover MacRumors had reported that, “It’s possible that Siri’s additional languages will be launched with the iPad 3 release next month.” But regarding the availability of Siri in Chinese and Russian languages, word has still to be heard of it.

iPad 3 Release Will Be on the 7th of March

Almost everyone who are closely following the updates of the anticipated iPad 2 successor are buzzing about a March 7 iPad 3 release date. It seems like the whole world is talking about it but still the Apple corporation remains mum on the matter.

So why should we believe that the iPad 3 release date will be on the 7th of March? First and foremost, All Things D published a report last week which stated that the iPad 3 will be due early on in March. Aside from this, the date perfectly parallels with the release schedule of preceding iPads. Also The Loop and especially iMore, an Apple blog that had successfully cited “sources who have been reliable in the past”, announced on their site that March 7 Wednesday is the iPad 3 release date. And it is usually during Wednesdays that Apple is so fund of holding events.

If previous sales are to repeat themselves then iPad 3 will debut on March 7, a Wednesday, and be available for purchase in stores by March 16, a Friday. Then finally distribute globally by the end of March.

Moving on to a few popular speculations about the iPad 3, arguments whether there will be or there will be no Retina Display feature is rising. While some reports confidently announce that iPad 3 will indeed be equipped with the new Retina Display. Other sources who referred to the previous CES iPad 3 sighting, said that it will have no major changes and will in fact be an iPad 2S. But somehow, the iPad 3 rumor of not having the Retina Display just yet could be true since there have been reports that Apple had issue sourcing these items.

When it comes to the iPad 3 processor (which had different groups disputing over an A6 processor or only an updated version of the A5), iMore (but not Apple) said that they can confirm that the iPad 3 will have a quad-core processor. The only thing they are not certain about is if the gadget will have the LTE compatibility.

Lastly, iPad 3 rumors of the release of a smaller 7” display have not gone away. Even The Wall Street Journal reported last time that Apple has been testing a version of the iPad with a smaller screen. This can be probable though since the form factor and affordability are growing segments in the market. And they’re something that Apple has to begin becoming competitive with if they want to stay ahead of the sales game.

Apple Employee Dishes About the New iPad 3

From one exposure to another an anonymous Apple employee was overheard attesting that the new iPad 3 is, “essentially the same size and shape as the iPad 2 with an

improved and truly amazing screen”. Refusing to be named, the employee also added that, “It will have a faster processor and will be released at an event in early March”.

Wow! All the patience and waiting for the coming of the new iPad 3 is starting to pay off. These statements from a reliable source only affirm the speculations which have been building up for the past few weeks surrounding the iPad 3.

To iterate, the most-awaited new iPad 3 could exactly have a look that’s totally the same with that of the iPad 2. The only differences would be a faster processor, improved camera, and longer battery life. Well of course, we can also expect a few more additional features or programs such as the iPhone 4S virtual assistant Siri and also face recognition to help boosts its security.

Although these are yet to be confirmed by Apple themselves, the iPad 3 rumors are becoming more and more promising. Still, there are some gossips that will unlikely be true. Last time the New York Times had published a report that its “unclear” whether the iPad 3 will really be named as such. This is slightly due to Apple’s decision to call the supposed to be fifth generation iPhone as iPhone 4S instead of iPhone 5. iPad 2S anyone? Another iPad 3 rumor that’s ambiguous is whether the processors will really be a quad-core chip. Maybe it will be called A6 but chances are it could only be an improved and faster version of the A5 that is already in the iPad 2. Thus, whether these iPad 3 rumors are true or not let’s not keep our hopes too high.

Apple iPad 3 Release Date

Apple iPad 3 Release Date

With iPad 3 rumors increasing all the time as the anticipation of the release date of the world’s most love tablet is heightening, some of the hearsays are getting stronger and repetitive suggesting that there might be some truth into them.

Yes! We all heard and read it. The iPad 3 is going to be thinner (or will it be thicker?), sleeker, and definitely features packed compared to the iPad 2. But one question remains, when is the iPad 3 coming out? When is the ipad 3 release date?

Although Apple has not dispensed any official announcements, a new report has been confirmed that iPad 3 could be released at the beginning of March.

Earlier, iPad 3 rumors suggested that it will be released during Christmas of 2011 or on Feb. 4 which happens to be the birth date of Steve Jobs. But these dates are closing in, still no iPad 3 yet. So why should we believe the early March Apple iPad 3 release date rumor?

Here’s, what we think we know, why:

Last July 2011, Digitimes reported that suppliers were boosting production of components for the iPad 3. Then in October, rumors spread that production of the tablets will begin by the end of 2011. By November, panels for the new iPad 3 had been shifted.

Then just last month, Foxconn (major manufacturing partner of Apple) is said to have started production of the new iPad 3. And they are expected to reach full volume by the month of February.

Official announcements and promotions of iPad 3 are therefore to be expected this month. And with Apple usually releasing the actual products a month after, high hopes can be set that iPad 3 release date will be on early March.
